What is Somatic work? 

Soma is a greek word meaning "the living body known from within."

Somatic work is becoming widely known as we come to the stage in our wellbeing practice where we understand we must go deeper into the body. What's the difference between Somatics and Body Mindfulness? Simply being aware of our body is not enough. Being aware and witnessing our bodies are important. But observing doesn't mean we're actually in relationship with our body or what's occuring within it. Most are not truly aware of their body beyond the surface tension they might hold.
